Last month we noted that North Star would soon be relaunching our blog, Northern Lights. Well, that time is now!
Starting this evening, we’ll have a daily stream of posts our team of bloggers.
With the May launch of our newly redesigned website, integrating the blog into our website (the blog previously resided at the URL LDSLights.org), we’re now formally relaunching Northern Lights with new and returning faithful LDS bloggers to continue our exploration into issues related to homosexuality and Mormonism.
We would love for you all to actively participate in our little corner of the Mormon blogosphere. Because Northern Lights is a blog written by believing members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and because our focus is discussing the intersections of sexuality and faith in an edifying and uplifting manner and within the framework of commitment to the beliefs and ideals of the Church, we ask that those who participate respect our beliefs, which center on the foundational teachings of the Church, including doctrines related to chastity and gay relationships.

The relaunch of the Northern Lights blog is only one of many forthcoming North Star initiatives. Stay tuned for our North Star Voices podcast, which we’ll be launching soon, as well as film and essay project sharing the stories of the many men and women who understand the experience of homosexuality firsthand and who have chosen a life in accordance with the gospel.
