North Star sponsors a variety of discussion groups intended to provide a moderated forum in which you can post and read messages of support, compassion, and encouragement, as well as individual experiences of doubt, fear, hope, and joy.

As interest, need, and activity level evolve, these groups are subject to change. If there is a particular demographic for which you feel a group would be beneficial, please let us know. If there is sufficient interest, we will consider creating such a group.
If you would like to join more than one group – and are eligible according to the demographic – each group must be joined separately.

The following are groups sponsored by other individuals or organizations whose mission and goals we have reason to believe are in general harmony with the mission of North Star and the values and standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Clean-LDS
For Latter-day Saint men and women (both same-sex and opposite-sex attracted) who struggle with an addiction to or abuse of pornography. Additional groups include “Clean-Support,” for LDS men and women married to people who struggle with an addiction to or abuse of pornography, and “Clean-Marriage,” for married Latter-day Saints who either struggle with pornography or are married to someone who does.
Ruth and Esther
For Latter-day Saint women affected by sexual abuse, including friends and family members. Though geared toward LDS women, women of all faiths who have been affected by sexual abuse are welcome.
Latter-day Saint Recovery Support Forums
Includes forums for those who struggle with sexual addictions, spouses of those who struggle with sexual addictions, those who struggle with sexual addictions and body image issues, those who struggle with same-sex attraction, those who struggle with sexual addictions, spouses of those who struggle with sexual addictions, those who struggle with sexual addictions and body image issues, and those who struggle with same-sex attraction
People Can Change
For men of all faiths – or no faith – who desire to resolve unwanted same-sex attractions, as well as heterosexual men whose your sole motivation is to give support and increase their own understanding, compassion, and sense of brotherhood. Includes additional group for spouses.

Para los hombres y mujeres Santos de los Ultimos Dias de habla hispana, quienes experimentan atraccion del mismo sexo y desean vivir acorde con las doctrinas y enseñanzas de la Iglesia.
