About JJ

JJ grew up in Highland Utah and graduated from Lone Peak high school and loves technology almost as much as Kip from Napoleon Dynamite. JJ is currently attending UVU studying computer science and is working for a local company as a software developer. In his day-to-day life, JJ loves to spend time with his friends and family doing anything that is outdoors including hiking, camping, golfing, wake-boarding, scuba diving, and pretty much anything that is fun to do outside. JJ experiences same gender attraction and is striving to live a Christ centered life and has found peace and hope through the atonement of Jesus Christ.

  1. Thanks for sharing your testimony and standing for the truth!

    Thank you.

  3. Thank you SO much for your vulnerability and bravery. You are a noble son of God and no one can take your place.

  4. JJ, I love hearing your story, and I appreciate the struggle. It wasn’t too many years ago I had to make the same kind of choice, which way to go. I felt strongly pulled to the wrong way, but I knew it was wrong. I’m so glad I made the decision I did. Not that things are easy now – they aren’t. But I am increasingly finding ways to stay true. I still struggle. But the times I feel strong seem to increasingly outnumber the times I struggle. Thanks for sharing. You are more brave than I am, and I respect you tons.

JJ, Thank you. The road we share is fraught with hazzard, and though remaining true to our Lord is our desire, sometimes the path feels like you’re either fasting or starving–either way we have to find strength beyond the normal sources. That strength comes from The Lord. Keep up the good fight.

  7. Awww, JJ I really enjoyed your story and it in someways applied to me as well. Thank You:)

  8. JJ, thank you. Your faith shines bright through your beautiful eyes, and you have shared a powerful example of enduring to the end. You can do it. You can make it. Keep going! Know that you are loved!

  9. You are amazing JJ. I am so glad you know that God loves you, because he does! You are an inspiration.
